A hotel in the heart of the atolls
The MV Illusions is a 72 foot or 22 meter, 3-deck catamaran fitted out to cater for eight to ten guests berthed in six ventilated cabins. Three twin cabins and one double cabin share a bathroom while the last two cabins are en-suite.
The big main salon (390 ft2 or 36m2) comfortably seats everyone for dinner, to enjoy watching a film on the big flat screen. A breakfast bar separates the salon from the galley where the meals are prepared in a friendly atmosphere. The bar may also be used for meals, it is particularly convenient for breakfast.
Outside, from the awning covered upper deck, is an unequalled view over the lagoon. This is a magnificent area to have lunch or dinner, depending on the weather, place or passenger’s choice. It is from this deck that it is possible at certain times of year to observe whale shark.
At the aft, a roomy 215 ft2 or 20m2 diving deck means that it’s easy to get kitted up for diving or even to be in the open sea to troll pelagic fish from the main yacht. There is a diving platform extending from each of the hulls making it easy to get to the water to dive or just swim.
The peaceful fore deck is an excellent place to sunbathe on or watch the dolphins from.
Over and above the high level of comfort she offers, the MV Illusions, thanks to her small draught, is the only yacht in the Seychelles “outer islands” that can take you deep in to the atolls and the best fishing areas.
Three power tenders (two 18ft or 5.5m 75 HP motor inflatables and one 40 HP rigid hull) allow you to explore different diving and fishing sites in a wide radius both in and outside the atolls.
