From May to October the MV Illusions is based in the inner islands offers private charter trips round the islands of Praslin, La Digue, Marianne, Curieuse, Booby, ave Maria and the Félicité Islands. The diving trips are outings in the open sea requiring a certain amount of experience even though there is a diving instructor on board to supervise every trip. The crew have found hundreds of great diving sites to choose from for the two to three daily outings. Visibility is good and the season right for meeting turtles or whale sharks, particularly at the end of the southern winter (August/September).
May and June are more often when we set out to explore the reefs around Desroches, the famous Desroches drop and Les Amirantes in general, looking for majestic manta rays while also keeping an eye out for sharks, barracuda and turtles to name but a few.
The MV Illusions is equipped with twelve 2.5 gallon or 10 liter aluminum air tanks and two 64gl or 240l/minute compressors which fill up in complete safety without wasting any time. Even though we can provide spare equipment, we recommend that you come with your suit and its regulator. We can organize diving trips for individuals and groups, compiling a made to measure program to suit your level and requirements. Naturally, A qualified guide is in charge of every outing.
